Instructions

Description: It's pasta time! Follow the base recipe provided below to make a delicious pasta. Go wild with the ingredients to create the best pasta you have ever created! Post a photo to the contest page with an ingredients list and a short description of your dish to enter.

Submission: Monday November 6th - Sunday November 12th
Voting: Monday November 13th - Sunday November 19th
Winner Announced: Monday November 20th

RECIPE

Ingredients:
1 pkg (16 oz each) dry spaghetti, uncooked
2 cans (355g each) of Tomato Sauce
3 tablespoons firmly packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 teaspoons minced onion
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Directions:
1     Cook spaghetti as directed on package.

2     Beat tomato sauce, sugar, oil, onion, oregano and garlic powder in medium saucepan with whisk until well blended while spaghetti is cooking. Cook over medium heat 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to low; simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

3     Drain spaghetti; place on serving platter. Top with the sauce.

REQUIREMENTS

Timeline: All contest submissions must be received between 12:00am EST on the day they begin and 11:59pm EST on the day they finish. If your submission is not received it will not be eligible for the contest.

Eligibility: To be eligible your final dish must include the base recipe provided.
